Pictures from the rest of the week:
On July 5th, we had some pretty loud thunderstorms in the evening- so Little Bug and went outside to watch the storms and look at the rain.
Standing on the front porch getting a little wet. Then Momma remembered that Tammy, Yamileth, Macy, and Michelle stopped by with a present for the Little Bug. So into the house and out came the brand new rain coat. Little Bug loved it, he could watch the rain falling down and not get wet as the wind blew the rain onto the porch.
Trying to jump in the rain
He really enjoyed the rain
Earlier, before the rain came, this was the view on the front porch- the tomato plant is just about ready to give us some tomatoes (YUMMMMMMMMMM)
Note: Little Bug does not like tomatoes- but he eats salsa- go figure. Momma ate the first tomato this afternoon. It was great. There is nothing like a fresh tomato with a little salt.
Little Bug trying to sneak up on me on the swing.
Here he is telling me that it is too hot and we need to go back inside- it was close to 90 degrees and the heat and humidity were awful. 2 hours later we had the thunderstorms.
Little Bug showing me how high he can jump- you have to start low to the ground and then...
Out for a ride on the car before the rains came. Little Bug does not like riding on the sidewalk- he really wants to be out in the street.
Here he is telling me to get out of his way and to stop taking the pictures, he needs to drive his car.
Riding on the porch- he got too hot in the sun and the car got too hot for him to hold onto the steering wheel.
It has been a pretty busy end to the week- Little Bug was outside most of the days and he got very overheated a few times. He like being outside but he will not drink his water, so we end up coming in after 15-20 minutes so that he can cool down- then he nearly falls asleep from the temperature change. He does not understand that if we stay in the shade, he can stay out longer. The back of the house is in shade in the afternoon and evening, but he wants to go out front.
