Visiting with hermano and the vaca parents

What is the big pod doing in Bug's bed??????????

Why, it is the Bug, all wrapped up from his bath this morning. We worked in the garden and yard this morning and since I took a shower, Bug decided he needed a bath (he really did need it). So one bath in the middle of the day and then nap time because hermano and his parents were coming to dinner.

before they got to our house, Bug got some swim time in.

He was having a great time playing in the water with all his squirt toys. he even had his frog sitting at the top of the slide looking at me

Hermano arrived and immediately headed to the pool under the watchful eyes of his momma and Bug. Bug decided that since hermano was in the pool, he was not going to be in the pool. meanwhile, I am cooking hamburgers on the grill.

It took Bug a good 10 - 15 minutes to decide that maybe he wanted back in the pool. So he got 2 minutes in the water before it was time to get out for dinner
Hermano looking so cute in the pool

Vaca Momma, Hermano and vaca Daddy- awesome family, great friends.
Dinner pictures, slightly out of order. Dessert- blueberries, whipped cream and pound cake- or Bug with a mustache

Bug and hermano at their special table. They spent a good portion of the meal, pushing the table into each other or irritating each other. They had some good moments of playing together but just as many moments of arguing over the same toy (tractor, car, bracelet, etc).
But, we all had a good time. It was good to have time to talk, watch the boys and enjoy each other's company. Hermano left with quite a few pairs of shoes that Bug outgrew and lots of clothes that Bug will not fit into. we'll see in the fall if even more clothes go over to hermano before Bug even gets to wear them.
Love and hugs to you,
Deb

That last picture is funny. I can picture them about 10-15 years from now talking with those same expressions. :-) Bickering over toys? They really are brothers! :-)
