First some updates on the bump on the head
The pictures do not show it all- it is really turning black. But no pain and Bug is doing great.
This one almost shows the black color. Definitely there is still a bump
Bug napping this afternoon- he was worn out from watching the Olympic opening ceremonies.
Having "pootsie" rolls with Pap. Bug gets Tootsie rolls for going to the potty. It seems to work
Mam and Pap came over dinner tonight- we had mini meatloaves (they were a hit), potatoes, fresh tomatoes and cucumbers from the garden- the dinner was great. Then we sat outside and had drum stick ice cream cones. We have to eat the ice cream outside because as you can see, Bug is walking ice cream when he eats his drum stick.
Tomorrow Bug and I start looking for a new church- I am dreading walking into a new situation, but we need to find a church home where both Bug and I are growing in our faith.
Well, gymnastics is on, so I am off to watch the US men along with Bug- who insists he is going to do gymnastics when he is bigger.
Love and hugs to you,
Deb

Little Bug is looking better! It is hard to see the bruise in the pics but I can imagine what it looks like after seeing the pics from the day it happened. I had to comment becuase I know you will appreciate this...we just returned from the emergency room where D received 7 stitches in his forehead, as well as a CT scan (scan came back normal)! He was clunked by one of those spring animal toys -on our church playground of all places! Believe it or not, with 4 kids this was my first trip to the ER for an injury....so I can totally empathize with what you went through with Bug earlier this week! Glad he is feeling better, hopefully that bruise isn't too tender...looking forward to seeing you next month!
